These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lanoo mobile app and related services at lanoo.io ("Lanoo," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Lanoo, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Lanoo. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Lanoo only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate account information and notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Using Lanoo
Lanoo is an emoji quiz game. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial entertainment unless we agree otherwise in writing. You agree not to:
- Use Lanoo in violation of applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, including by automated scraping or abuse
- Upload or submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
- Circumvent security, rate limits, or technical restrictions
User Content
If you create posts or submit guesses, you retain ownership of your content. You grant Lanoo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process your content solely as needed to operate and improve the service.
You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the rights needed to share it.
Automated and Bot Content
Some quiz content may be created by automated systems or bot accounts managed by Lanoo. That content is provided for gameplay purposes and may be updated or removed at any time.
Intellectual Property
Lanoo, including its branding, design, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other proprietary materials except as needed to use the service.
Termination
You may stop using Lanoo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Disclaimers
Lanoo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lanoo and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Lanoo after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Lanoo operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply where required by law.
